Jade hails from Te Whanau-a-Apanui on her mother’s side and Ngati Tuwharetoa and Ngapuhi on her father’s side. She joined Boffa Miskell at the end of 2014 and has more than ten years of experience in relationship development, governance and strategic policy.
For the last four years Jade worked as an Advisor to the Minister of Māori Affairs based in Parliament. She provided strategic and policy advice across a broad Maori Affairs portfolio including economic development and Maori language development and revitalisation. She has held policy positions in central and local government.
Jade brings a wide understanding of Maori cultural values and knowledge with experience in how this is applied in the context of resource management legislation. Jade brings a high level of written communication and analytical skills to all her projects.
She brings a wide understanding of Māori values, knowledge and a passion for te reo Māori. She has a passion for community-led projects and working in multi-disciplinary teams.
