Marcus has a background in ecological and environmental management, specialising in biosecurity. He possesses a variety of management and operational skills, as a result of his extensive experience managing multiple high-profile and complex biosecurity projects and contracts. He provides technical advice on the management of pest plants and animals, producing management strategies, operational plans and reports on the effectiveness of control works and management options.
Marcus has a wealth of knowledge of pest plant and animal control tools and techniques. He is responsible for designing control works programmes through carrying out desktop and site assessments, recommending control solutions and developing fit-for-purpose contracts. He is experienced in designing tenders which are consistent with the government rules of sourcing, and seeing projects through from stakeholder engagement to project delivery and reporting.
Marcus’ strength is in project management; controlling and minimising project risks, delivering quality results on time and to budget and ensuring that clients and suppliers alike are communicated with effectively.
