Enhancing streetscapes in the restoration of earthquake-damaged neighbourhoods
Boffa Miskell assisted the Waimakariri District Council with its earthquake recovery programme by providing urban and landscape design input into the restoration of damaged streets in some residential neighbourhoods in Kaiapoi. The team was involved in consultation with local residents to explore options for how their roads could be rebuilt and be made more attractive and safe.
