About Emma

Emma re-joined Boffa Miskell in 2008 after two and half years working as a Landscape Architect for Whitelaw Turkington, a highly respected firm in London. Prior to this, she had worked for Boffa Miskell and with the Design Services Department of the Hamilton City Council. The combination of overseas’ experience and knowledge of the local environment has provided Emma with a refreshing insight into designing landscape spaces.

Experience ranges in scale, from large rural, urban and coastal developments, to site specific projects including streetscape and public realm design, CBD analysis, retail and commercial developments, parks and reserve design and planting, re-vegetation projects and community design. In London, she worked on a number of inner-city mixed use developments, designing high end public realm spaces.

Interests lie in the design of high quality urban streetscapes and public realm spaces, and in open space development. Emma has successfully led, managed and implemented large landscape projects, working in multi-disciplinary environments.
