About Jo

Jo is a planner and project manager with thirteen years’ experience in local government and consultancy roles. Since joining Boffa Miskell in 2013 Jo has had significant involvement in many large-scale land development projects, including obtaining subdivision and resource consents for large rural subdivisions and buildings, primarily in sensitive coastal environments.

Jo is passionate about collaborating with clients and relationship building to deliver quality projects that exceed expectations and enhance the environment. She seeks to provide complementary planning and environmental outcomes, and has the tenacity to lead projects through the regulatory process.

Jo has led various papakāinga projects which begin with community visioning workshops, right through to obtaining resource consent. She recently obtained the first resource consent in the Auckland region for forestry harvesting and earthworks under the National Environmental Standards for Production Forestry.

She has also provided planning advice, prepared submissions and presented evidence on behalf of a wide range of clients through the review of the Auckland Unitary Plan hearing process.
