I have a passion for creating lasting sustainable environmental, social, and cultural outcomes. I have a broad range of experience and skills in environmental statutory planning under the Resource Management Act 1991 and related legislation, encompassing policy-making and project consenting for councils, government agencies, corporates and private clients.

My policy experience includes review and preparation of resource management plans, variations and plan changes, and progressing these through the statutory process of submissions, hearings, decisions and Environment Court appeals. I have extensive experience in the preparation of resource consent applications and assessment of environmental effects for development projects, with a particular focus on infrastructure development, often involving bespoke streamlined fast-track processes. I have particular skills in the early identification and resolution of consenting issues to assist in the successful consenting of projects.

My work has included the full spectrum of resource management issues including policy matters and projects in urban, rural, freshwater, coastal, and marine environments. I enjoy delivering my work to a high standard and using my experience and skills to achieve good and pragmatic environmental outcomes.
