My design approach is centered around having a holistic understanding of the full engagement and design process, and the integration of the natural and built environment. My aim is to achieve environmentally sustainable and inspired design outcomes, that go beyond the ordinary and enable individuals and communities gain maximum benefit from their rural and urban environments.

My experience ranges in scale from large master planning projects and structure planning and developing urban design frameworks, through to detail design and supervision of construction of projects, through to final completion. I have worked with a broad range of clients including central government, regional and local councils, community groups and private developers. I am also a current member of both the Tauranga and Hamilton City Urban Design Panels.

Prior to joining Boffa Miskell in 2007, I ran my own consulting business in South Africa.
