As an urban designer I continually bridge professional and disciplinary divides between planning and design, strategy and implementation, and public and private interests to deliver higher quality, more liveable urban places.

My practice is focused on working collaboratively as part of multi-disciplinary teams helping unlock complex urban development, infrastructure and public realm projects. Increasingly, I am focused on transport and land use integration challenges and how we can unlock integrated solutions faster to increase the scale and pace of change required to achieve a just transition for our cities in a changing climate.

My experience includes urban design roles in the Let’s Get Wellington Moving Programme and Auckland Light Rail; the development of the Aotearoa Urban Street Planning and Design Guide for Waka Kotahi; and the Auckland City Centre Masterplan 2020; as well as advice and input to a number of significant development projects across Tamaki Makaurau.

I am a member of the NZUDF, a registered NZILA landscape architect, member of the RMLA and Transportation New Zealand. Since 2015 I have been a panelist and chair of the Auckland Urban Design Panel. Since 2022 I have been on the sounding board for The Urban Room, as part of Boffa Miskell’s founding partner support to that initiative.
