Yvonne Pflüger | Landscape Planner, Associate Partner

Yvonne has worked as a Landscape Planner in NZ and Europe, working on a wide range of projects addressing landscape and visual effects assessment, riverscape restoration, and tourism/ recreation planning.

Yvonne joined Boffa Miskell in 2005, where she specialises in the preparation of landscape and visual assessments for development projects within sensitive environments. She has prepared and presented evidence for a wide variety of projects at a range of scales for Council and Environment Court hearings, mediation and expert conferencing.

She has prepared assessments for Special Housing Areas, as well as large-scale infrastructure developments, including airport, port, renewable energy and roading projects. Additionally, Yvonne has assisted with tourism project development, including golf and ski resorts.

Yvonne has worked with a number of District and Regional Councils to review their plans by preparing coastal natural character assessments under the NZ Coastal Policy Statement and territorial landscape studies. Her work has included preparation of landscape evaluations, identification of Outstanding Natural Landscapes, advice on the development of appropriate management mechanisms and evidence for plan review hearings.
