The Classical design of the landscape and masterplan complements the Jubilee Building and the Auckland Museum and Domain landscapes.
The Foundation Parnell has been carefully designed to welcome and host a variety of building residents, workers, and visitors. The Foundation site is located within the block bound by Parnell Road, Maunsell Road, George Street, and Titoki Street, in Parnell, Auckland; nestled within a heritage precinct it is adjacent to the Auckland Museum and Domain and has all the amenities of the city at its doorstep.
A Classical approach is embedded into the whole development, using the materials and planting to create a series of formal, peaceful spaces to experience. The Foundation is graced by presence of a large mature Pohutukawa tree, a visual marker and integral part of the central space. Boffa Miskell provided landscape architectural services focussed particularly on planting design with a high level of detail and material specification.
